American Okra

Product details: Our American Okra pods also called clemson, can grow up to 9″ long but are best harvested at about 3 – 4 inches for culinary use, the pods are dark green, straight, and slightly grooved.


Our American okra pods are a very popular variety of okra known of its vigorous size, smooth and spineless pods that are dark green in color and slightly grooved. They can grow up to nine inches but for our clients culinary preferences they are best harvested at about three to four inches.


The American okra, also known as gumbo or lady's fingers, is a versatile vegetable often featured in dishes like the gumbo stew (popular in the U.S. Gulf coast regions) and fried cuisines.
